This summer, I am excited to take part in Tour de Simcha, an exhilarating 65-mile cycling event benefiting the children and families of Chai Lifeline.
Every mile I ride and every dollar I raise will help support iShine Teaneck, a Chai Lifeline program that I have been closely involved with running for the past 10 years. iShine Teaneck is a very special after school program that meets twice a week. The program is for any children dealing with serious illess or loss in their family (of a parent or sibling).
Life for a child struggling with these challenges at home can be really tough. At iShine, we do homework, have lots of fun during different exciting activities, and serve dinner. All with our amazing high school volunteers as big brothers and big sisters. We provide support, stability, tons of fun, and many, many smiles. It's hard for me to express in words what an incredible program iShine Teaneck is, and how much support it provides for those in the community going through such difficult times.
My objective for this ride is to raise $15,000, and I hope you will help me reach this goal. All donations are 100% tax deductible. You can donate to this important cause by clicking on the link below.
