This summer my sister's and I are taking part of Chai Lifelines cycling event Tour de Simcha. As a Camp Simcha Special camper alumnus.I know that camp helps alleviate the stress, pain, and loneliness that chronic illness brings. With camp creating an atmosphere for campers to be able to freely express themselves without having a doctors appointment the next day or the amazing opportunity to have friends who have the same diagnosis or simply understand the day to day struggle of something as simple as feeling unwell. Camp doesn’t just stop at an amazing two weeks though. They continue through the year with things like Simcha Without Borders, Channuka party’s, Purim party’s, Shabbaton’s, etc… I have had an amazing 10+ years at camp forming unbelievable friendships and experiences. Which helped me get through an incredibly difficult year medically which threw many new curb balls and added diagnoses to my list. However, I had friends who could help me by simply making me laugh, as well as being able to reach out to other friends I know who had this new diagnosis of mine for way longer then me who were able to give me tips and really understand my struggle. I didn’t have to feel alone or overwhelmed and it was because of Chai Lifeline. So please help me and my sisters give back to camp by donating to our page
Our objective is to raise $10,800, and I hope you will help me reach this goal. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
